We were in Paris for a few days just before Christmas last year. We expected the city to be a riot of holiday cheers, but were somewhat disappointed. We still managed to do a fair amount of walking, eating and shopping, so not a total loss. It was still Paris, though. Beautiful anytime of the year. And yes, I'm very late in posting these.
