A Cold, Dreary January Afternoon in New York City
January 04, 2013
It's been cold and wintry in New York of late. Not unusually so, but once the holidays have past it seems colder, drearier, and the winds don't stop. I went to the roof to look around and took this photo looking northwest toward Hell's Kitchen. Its a fine photo, but one I've taken many times before. In fact, I've decided to "retire" this view as I'm afraid it has become a cliche. Call it a New Year's resolution, starting after this one.
