On the Road Again: National Park Tour
August 13, 2007

I will soon embark on part two of my travels, visiting numerous of our nation's national parks (and maybe a few in Canada, because the me-too Canadians also have a few nice ones).

Not sure how long exactly I'll be on the road, but I plan to visit the following:

Crater Lake National Park (Oregon)
Craters of the Moon National Monument (Idaho)
Grand Teton National Park (Wyoming)
Yellowstone National Park (Wyoming)
Glacier National Park (Montana)
Banff National Park (Alberta, Canada)
Olympic National Park (Washington)
Rainier National Park (Washington)
Mt. St. Helens National Monument (Washington)
Redwoods National Park (California)

Also under consideration are:

Lassen Volcanic National Park (California)
Joshua Tree National Park (California)
Death Valley National Park (California)
King's Canyon / Sequoia National Park (California)
Zion National Park (Utah)
Arches National Park (Utah)

I'll be on the road quite literally, just me and my CR-V. I reckon I'll spend about $500 on gas, and another $1200 on SlimJim's. As I'm driving and my schedule is flexible, I'm quite open to meeting up with anyone along the way. I may have stayed a the Four Seasons in Singapore, but this time I'm around I'm camping (its a nice tent, though).

I'll be posting to this blog along the way. If you would prefer not to receive blog and/or photo notifications, you can update your profile.
