My Mac imploded about a week ago about the same time I get a second computer, a MacBook Air for travel. As I rebuilt the system, I took the opportunity to try out Adobe Lightroom as part of their 30-day trial. I've been an Aperture user since its first release and I'm very comfortable and efficient working in the application, but I've been disappointed with its upgrade cycle and lack of essential features like lens profiles and perspective tools. This post is a pilot of a Lightroom workflow on my MacBook Air. I also got a new geared tripod head and have been trying it out. Having said all of that, these photos aren't irrelevant but part of my trial process. Enjoy!
