Farmer Warren

Birthdays, Kansas City, Politics, The Koellers

Guest post from Warren Koeller

I got a red wagon for my birthday and today was my annual planting day. In order to qualify for my monthly CRP payments from the tax payers, I have to "rotate" my crops. Last year I planted a radish, this year a tomato plant. I know this doesn't sound like much but with Obama, anything is possible - keeps my standard of living intact. Sort of embarassing to have Lynn pull me around but if I claim disability, they double the CRP payments.

Can't wait to have Lynn pull me down to the weekly farmers market with a load of tomatoes - just hope I don't get a 1099.
