If you recall, she suffered a rare spinal disc rupture that left her hind legs paralyzed. At the time the doctors weren't terribly optimistic about her future, but her recovery has been remarkable. She went to the vet yesterday to get her airline health certificate (we're all headed to Kansas this weekend), and the vet was also marveling at her increased mobility and muscle tone. She's starting more physical therapy in a few weeks, but for the most part she's getting around great save for a slight limp.
Today Suki is doing well and seems to like being in New York. We live a block from the park and have many visitors, but always welcome more.
