Last night we ate at Little Star Pizza in the Mission, which is, in many
opinions, the best pizza in San Francisco. Sadly, that's sort of a
backhanded compliment like "tallest pigmy", etc. Little Star is a San
Francisco knockoff of College Avenue's famous Zachary's Deep Dish
Chicago-style pizza. More casserole or lasagna than pizza, the inverted pie
is topped with gobs of tomatoes, cheese and sausage. Good stuff.
